Almost summer

We went down to phoenix this last friday for an Ecocardiogram of Karlynns Heart at her one year appt. Dr Lowe found a heart murmer and wanted us to have ti checked out just to make sure everything was good. I feltlike the wors parent ever! we had to hold down her arms and legs... She was PISSED! After we got all the pictures were taken she calmed right down. the tech said he couldnt tell us much and said it looked good. We wont know much more until we have the appointment with Dr. lowe.
After the appt we went shopping with Nanna Stacy! We had such a good time. we went to toys r us and costco. Karlynn got some much needed big girl clothes. she is growing so fast her clothes cant keep up!
Well I applied for a job in phoenix this week also. My doctor let me know that he is going to only be working in payson for 2 days a week. I cant live on 2 days of work a week so i applied for a job at the office that he will be working. I reallt have my fingers crossed that i get the job. If not i will be one of the many people on the job hunt.
I am SOOOO happy that it is finally almost summer. we went on the boat for the first time last weekend!! It was great to feel the warm sunshine on our faces and to not be bundled u[p in jackets or stuck inside. Karlynn Loved being on the lake  but she hated wearing her life jacket! I bought her a new one so she wont be quite so uncomfortable next time.

Its been a while!

I can’t believe it has been since Christmas that I have written anything! I guess if I said that we have been busy it would be a bit of an understatement!

Since Christmas we have had a huge flood down here and have been stuck out of our house for weeks at a time, bought a new travel trailer, and most importantly Karlynn had her first birthday!!

The huge storm that came through AZ caused such a mess around here. A few people lost their homes but fortunately we were lucky. The creek can be such an inconvenience at times, but I still love our home. We had been looking around for a new camp trailer. About 2 weeks after the flood we finally found one! Our good friends let us park the trailer at their house. When we can’t get home that is where we stay.



I'm sure there are a million other things we have done since Christmas but the biggest has definitely been Karlynns birthday! It’s still hard for me to say that my baby girl is already a year old! I still remember being in the hospital and holding her for the very first time. She was so tiny and sweet, now she is such a big girl!!! She weighs 22lbs and is 31" tall. We had her first birthday party at the best western and invited some friends and family to come celebrate. It was a great time and Karlynn got such great gifts. She has a wonderful family that really loves her

Ready for the new year!

What an AWESOME christmas we had!! The family came down friday morning and we opened presents. It was awesome to have everyone at our house. Justen and I really didnt want to drive all over the state for christmas this year. My Parents, Justens mom, our sisters, and my grandma and Grandpa Fred came down. We cooked Mexican food and hung out all day.
Karlynn got sooooo much stuff i dont know what we are going to do with it all!

She got her very first bicycle this year for christmas. My grandparents couldnt resist.. I dont blame them its stinkin cute! Its a Radio Flyer! haha she LOVES being pushed around on it! I dont know what we are going to do after her birthday in March! we might have to buy a new house... haha 

   We had Karlynns Dr.appt today She is doing great! her pedi said that she is advanced for her age, and recomended that we start trying to potty train Karlynn... I was a little taken back.. I knew she was doing things a little ahead, but POTTY TRAINING.... well we started trying! and karlynn went pee pee for the first time tonight! talk about a proud mama!!! haha

    For New Years we are going to go camping like we do every year! Plans might change because alot of the normal people that go have backed out this year. we shall see, we have alot of stuff to do, in order to be ready for camping!

Almost Christmas

Well its almost Christmas and for the fist time in a lot of years i am actually excited about the holidays!
Watching Kalrynns eyes light up when we put the Christmas tree up or when we go to a store and her all the music and buzz of people. I took her to see Zoo Lights with a few friend of mine Hannah and her son Jonah and some of my march mommies. Kalrynns face made me soo happy. You could tell she was just so awe struck. I think you forget when you get a certain age how much magic there is in life. Having that little girl makes my world a new place.

Its hard to believe but she is going to be 10 months old in just a couple weeks. She has already started taking a few steps at a time but falls right on her tush! its cute but i don't know if i am ready for a walking toddler. Her baby babbles are adorble she makes us laugh. she goes on and on with babababa and dadadadada and mamamama and her newest is babeeeeeeeee!


Justen and I LOVE watching her grow up. We cant get over how fast the time has gone. seems like just the other day we left the hospital with her. We will eventually try for number 2 but i want to enjoy her a little more. I think once we start potty training maybe we will think about another little one. :)

I am still working full time... well if you can consider it that. and Justen is still with ADOT. we wont know a whole lot more on his job until January. I have my fingers crossed that our wonderful government can figure out there shit and make sure he has a job! :)

Karlynn goes to a sitter 2 days a week. She loves Mandi, and its so nice to have her watching Karlynn. The other two days a week that i work Kalrynn goes to her GG (great grandma) and her GG Fred. They really enjoy having her! I love that they take her for me! I'm blessed to have such wonderful people to watch My baby girl!
